Punklegends pay tribute to a man responsible for the very essence of Punk Rock.... Arthur Kane
Stu Boy of the Corpse Grinders thought it would be appropiate to pay homage to a childhood friend, and fellow band mate Arthur Kane. Arthur along with Rick Rivets were founding members of the NY Dolls. Rick left the Dolls early but eventually met up with Arthur again after the Dolls broke up. Both started the Corpse Grinders.
Recently in 2004 Arthur reunited with existing Dolls members David Johansen, and Sylvain Sylvain to do a UK tour. Arthur had to leave the tour due to his ailing health and passed away a few weeks later.
